Jack Eckstein, a student in Gateway's Capstone Tech Ed class, completed a scaled miniature home as his project at the end of last year. The Capstone program is a project-based class for seniors who have completed 3-years of Tech Ed. Students are assigned a mentor from business and industry to advise them on their approved projects.
Jack embarked on a project to build a miniature house. Materials for the house cost roughly $3,000 Funds for the materials were fund-raised and donated by his industry mentor and technical advisor, Brian Buscher, from BTB Builders, as well as both his Tech Ed teachers, Mr. Better and Mr. Emmett. Congratulations to Jack, Brian and his teachers on a job well done!
