Construction and Utilities |
Program Description
Students interested in engineering or construction and utilities can learn the basics in our Technology Education department. We are fortunate to have strong ties with the Carpenters Local #255 and Apprenticeship Training Facility, as well as the Sheet Metal Workers Union Local #19 and many other wonderful companies run by our alumni, EP Henry and Haley Donovan Architect who have invested in career education for our students. Students can expect to learn with unique hands on projects, like our Gateway Home Tiny House, by utilizing CAD equipment and machinery. Our engineering students have had the opportunity to present on their experiences at Rowan University and have competed in STEM contests. We continue to find leadership opportunities for our students.
